TechCrunch reports that leading U.S. life insurance firm Allianz Life had information from 1.1 million customers exfiltrated following a breach impacting its Salesforce-hosted database late last month.

TPG Telecom, which is Australia's second-largest fixed voice and data network, had its customers' information pilfered following the breach of its iiNet order management system, which helps the firm monitor customer orders, according to Reuters.

Major casino game provider Bragg Gaming Group had its internal environments compromised following a systems breach identified over the weekend, reports The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.

While unconfirmed, experts say this incident has all the hallmarks of the recent identity-based Salesforce attacks.

Ninety-eight percent of organizations across nine countries, including the U.S., experienced data breaches stemming from vulnerable code this year, compared with over 90% last year and almost 80% in 2023, while the rate of companies that knowingly shipped vulnerable software rose from two-thirds to four-fifths, according to Cybersecurity Dive.

WestJet, which is Canada's second-largest airline, had its passengers' personal information confirmed to be compromised following a cyberattack in June, Cybernews reports.

Canada's House of Commons has allegedly been hit by a cyber attack caused by a threat actor who is targeting employee information, reports Security Affairs.
