As VP of Engineering / CISO, Mike Gruen is responsible for software development, data science, information technology infrastructure, and overall security posture at Cybrary. Mike has over 20 years of experience developing and overseeing the implementation of complex, secure, and scalable software solutions and products. Prior to joining Cybrary, he served as VP of Engineering and then VP of Product & Platform at RedOwl where he was responsible for the delivery of their User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) software product. Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park. One of Mike’s earliest jobs in high school and college was managing cable behind the scenes of The Guiding Light soap opera.
