According to HackRead, the Everest ransomware gang has announced a breach of Under Armour, allegedly absconding with 343 GB of sensitive internal data, including customer information and product details.

The data, displayed on the dark web, includes customer details, purchase history, and product information. The breach exposes a blend of personal and commercial data, potentially stemming from marketing or product systems within Under Armour. The ransomware group has imposed a seven-day ultimatum for the company to communicate via Tox messenger, a tactic frequently employed to coerce organizations into ransom payments.

If confirmed, the breach could have significant implications for Under Armour and its customers, raising data privacy concerns. Customers are encouraged to bolster their security measures, such as by updating passwords and activating two-factor authentication.
