Florida-based international educational services firm Kaplan, which offers test preparation services for high school and graduate exams, had data from at least 230,941 individuals across seven U.S. states stolen following a cybersecurity incident late last year, reports The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.

BleepingComputer reports that Mazda Motor Corporation has confirmed the compromise of 692 records with employee and business partner information in a December security incident.

The breach impacted Navia's systems between December 22, 2025, and January 15, 2026, with suspicious activity discovered on January 23.

Texas-based financial services provider Marquis Software Solutions has confirmed that data from 672,075 individuals had been compromised as a result of an August data breach that was previously reported to have affected at least 74 banks, financial entities, and credit unions, according to The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.

The breach involved data originating from a marketing tool acquired by Aura in 2021.

Stolen data includes customer business and contact information, as well as employee and corporate data.

Major South Korean credit card provider Lotte Card has been ordered by the country's Personal Information Protection Commission to pay a nearly $6.5 million fine following an August data breach that exposed the personal and credit information of 2.97 million customers, reports Cybernews.
