After being hit by a password breach, it seems as though a common response for many organizations is to implement two-factor authentication. Apple, Yahoo, Twitter, and WordPress have all implement the extra step for security measures. As a deterrent to basic phishing and malware attacks, Alex Doll, CEO of OneID, believes that two-factor authentication is a great remedy. However, he says that there are still exploits out there where it's not as effective, such as malware that's written to intercept an SMS intended to deliver an end-user's code for authorization.
