What it takes

Those with full lifecycle experience – from roadmap to execution – and strong collaboration skills are well-positioned for career growth. Most roles are based in Silicon Valley, but more can be found in emerging innovation hubs.

Compensation

Geography is a factor, but salaries for senior product managers can range from a $130k to $150k base, plus bonus. Director level and above range from a $175k to $225k base, plus bonus.
