Just six weeks after VTech experienced a breach that potentially exposed the information of nearly five million people, the company claimed it will better protect customers' personal data as it unveiled a portfolio of devices as part of its Wireless Monitoring System.The company took the wraps off of internet-connected cameras, smart sensors and other devices at CES in Las Vegas.Stung by the November theft of a database contained names, email addresses, passwords and home addresses, secret question and answer for password retrieval, IP address, mailing address and download history, the company VTech Product Marketing Director Chris Conrad told Motherboard that the company is “going through penetration tests by a third party and everything is going to be very secure.”
