These updates are integrated into their existing Veeam Data Platform and introduce a new offering, the DataAI Command Platform, leveraging technology from their recent acquisition of Securiti AI.Veeam Data Platform v13.1 introduces over 70 enhancements, including post-quantum cryptography to safeguard backups against future quantum computing threats. It also features an expanded malware scanner for AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, and NAS environments, alongside optimizations for Active Directory backups and cost-effective long-term storage.
