Ridge Security has launched its AI-powered RidgeBot penetration testing platform on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, providing organizations with a streamlined path to automate and continuous security validation, Security Brief Australia reports.

This integration allows Azure customers to deploy RidgeBot as a managed application or virtual machine, enabling autonomous risk discovery, exploitation, and reporting that aligns with frameworks like OWASP and MITRE. The platform is designed to shift security testing away from infrequent manual assessments toward a continuous model that actively exploits vulnerabilities to distinguish theoretical flaws from genuine risks.

By offering billing through Azure and integration with Microsoft Sentinel, Ridge Security aims to reduce deployment friction and unify security alerts. According to President and Co-Founder Lydia Zhang, the tool enables organizations to "continuously validate their security posture through autonomous, AI-driven testing," which helps strengthen defenses and align with Continuous Threat Exposure Management goals.

This move is targeted at sectors including finance, government, and telecom, supporting their DevSecOps practices and helping them build cyber resilience by thinking like an attacker to proactively identify and remediate critical security gaps.
