Research firm 650 Group recently reported that the secure access service edge market is maintaining its strong growth trajectory going into 2023, according to SDxCentral.
The report showed that SASE revenues for the third quarter were up 50%year-over-year for SASE capable vendors, which refers to providers whose offerings comprise a full suite of SASE-related products and services, namely:cloud access security broker, SD-WAN, firewall-as-a-service and zero trust, but do not market them as a unified SASE solution.
Meanwhile, SASE deployed vendors, or providers that deploy a full suite of SASE-related products and services, saw 37% year-over-year revenue growth, according to the report.
650 Group says enterprises demand for full-suite SASE products and services is expected to grow and eventually surpass demand for SASE capable offerings.
According to the report, the current top vendor of a full-suite deployed SASE is Versa Networks, followed by Cisco and Fortinet in a tie with Palo Alto Networks in third place.
When SASE capable vendors are included, however, the leaders are Cisco, Zscaler, and Palo Alto Networks.
