Cybersecurity firm Radware has acquired API security testing specialist Pynt, integrating pre-production testing capabilities into its existing API security portfolio to offer a more comprehensive lifecycle approach, reports Channel Life Australia.

The deal, which closed with key Pynt founders and staff joining Radware, complements Radware's API Security Service, combining Pynt's development-phase testing with Radware's runtime defense, posture management, and business logic protection. Haim Zelikovsky, Radware's Vice President of Cloud Security, stated the acquisition "close[s] the gap between shift-left and shift-right strategies," enabling customers to address security risks from design through production on a single platform.

Pynt's tools test APIs for misconfigurations and logic flaws before deployment, providing earlier risk visibility, while Radware's runtime protections secure live APIs. Pynt will remain available as a standalone offering while being integrated into Radware's broader application and API security suite. CEO and Co-Founder Tzvika Shneider expressed that joining Radware provides the resources to advance their vision alongside industry-leading threat intelligence.
