Channel Life United States reports that Palantir and Rackspace have entered a strategic partnership to deliver and operate AI platforms in regulated and sovereign environments.Under the agreement, Rackspace Technology will provide governed managed services for Palantir Technologies Foundry and its Artificial Intelligence Platform, covering hosting, migration, implementation, and ongoing operations. The companies said the model is designed for production deployments rather than pilots, particularly in sectors with strict data residency and compliance requirements. Palantir software will also run in Rackspace Private Cloud and UK Sovereign data centres to address cross-border data restrictions.Rackspace plans to expand its pool of Palantir-trained engineers from 30 to more than 250 within a year, supporting a "forward deployed" delivery model. CEO Gajen Kandiah said customers need "AI that works in production, not just in demos," emphasizing governance and security. The joint approach aims to unify infrastructure, operational controls, and AI execution under a single accountable framework.
