Palo Alto Networks launches enterprise version of Okyo Garde

Palo Alto Networks's Okyo Garde network security gateway now has an enterprise edition, aimed at corporate customers looking to provide secure access service edge functionality to their remote workers and their homes, according to SDxCentral. The original Okyo Garde WiFi 6 router leverages the security stack and threat intelligence capabilities of Palo Alto Networks, features a mobile app for remote controlling and user provisioning and is available as a package subscription containing the hardware as well as software and security services. "The benefits of working remotely also come with the shared responsibility between employees and employers for protecting networks," said Palo Alto Networks Senior Vice President of Products Kumar Ramachandran. "At-home use of personal devices, email, and social media accounts increases the risk of cyber attacks on the enterprise." Okyo Garde's enterprise version adds security features such as a tunnel to the Prisma Access security cloud by Palo Alto Networks, which provides added security through zero-trust network access, cloud access security broker, secure web gateway and cloud-based firewalls.
