Orion has secured $3.5 million in funding to advance its AI-driven platform that provides enterprises with predictive intelligence for physical threats, reports Tech Funding News.
The investment round, led by Dynamo Ventures with participation from several other venture firms, will fuel the expansion of a system designed to foresee and mitigate disruptions like political unrest or environmental hazards before they impact operations. The platform differentiates itself by synthesizing millions of data points from sources such as social media, news, and geospatial feeds to generate real-time risk scores for specific assets.
Founder and CEO Rahul Thayil stated that his team is "building a system that translates global volatility into clarity," helping organizations act preemptively.
A key innovation is the company's STAN framework, which moves beyond static data aggregation to create adaptive models that learn from how each client responds to crises. This approach has reportedly enabled one global client to achieve significant cost savings compared to traditional tools.
