Opaque Systems said it plans to unveil new offerings designed to ensure data confidentiality while using large language models, according to VentureBeat.
Set to be unveiled at the first Confidential Computing Summit in San Francisco, California, the products include a privacy-preserving generative AI that is optimized for use with Microsoft Azures Confidential Computing Cloud and features unique cryptographic fortifications and secure hardware enclaves to deliver multi-layer data protection.
The Opaque platform ensures data remains encrypted end to end during model training, fine-tuning, and inference, thus guaranteeing that privacy is preserved. To minimize the likelihood of data breaches throughout the lifecycle, our platform safeguards data at rest, in transit, and while in use, said Jay Harel, vice president of product at Opaque Systems.
Opaque Systems confidential computing platform now also supports confidential AI use cases by executing AI and machine learning models on encrypted data inside trusted execution environments, which prevents unauthorized access. This is done through a new zero-trust analytics platform, called the Data Clean Room, which is able to encrypt data at rest, in transit, and during usage, according to the company.
