A malware infection is to blame for a payment card data breach affecting at least 230 University of Central Florida students, according to Orlando, Florida NBC affiliate WESH, citing school officials.Following last month's discovery of the breach, investigators found malware on computer systems used at the retail and food locations Asian Chao, Huey Magoo's and the Corner Cafe inside the UCF student union, WESH.com has reported. All three entities are managed by the same company.The payment card breach is apparently unrelated to a previous breach incident, discovered in January, in which the Social Security numbers of 63,000 students and faculty members were illegally accessed.
