Iran's Ariomex cryptocurrency exchange has experienced a significant data leak, exposing sensitive user and transaction information from 2022 to 2025. The breach, detailed by cybersecurity firm Resecurity, includes personal data, transaction histories, and operational contexts of its users, as reported by Security Affairs.

The leaked database contains 11,826 records, with approximately 7,710 originating from Iran. Data includes user identities, emails, IP addresses, and details of cryptocurrency operations. Some records lacked Know Your Customer (KYC) verification or had modified information, with notable transactions involving millions of U.S. dollars.

The breach, likely stemming from a compromised customer support system, has led to the circulation of stolen data on the dark web. The exposed information reveals the global footprint of Iranian cryptocurrency holders, potentially aiding in the identification of illicit financial activities.
