Guardz introduces agentic reporting to simplify MSP security communication

Guardz has launched a new agentic reporting capability designed to streamline how managed service providers (MSPs) create, customize, and deliver security reports to their clients. This new feature aims to simplify the complex process of demonstrating the value of security services, as reported by Channel Insider.

The new reporting feature introduces a conversational interface, allowing MSPs to interact directly with their security data using natural language. This moves away from traditional fixed report templates, enabling users to request specific information, modify structures, and generate tailored insights. The system also supports follow-up questions for deeper exploration without manual data collection from disparate systems. Guardz's capability pulls data from identities, endpoints, cloud systems, and other security layers, incorporating identity threat detection and response (ITDR) data and incident insights into a unified reporting experience. This approach uses a federated data architecture for real-time reporting, avoiding delays associated with centralized indexing.

A primary goal is to help MSPs better articulate the impact of their security services, highlighting metrics like blocked threats and investigated incidents in a way that is understandable to non-technical business leaders.
