Acronis launches managed detection and response service for MSPs

Acronis International GmbH has announced the global launch of Acronis MDR by Acronis TRU, a new managed detection and response service designed for managed service providers. This service aims to provide comprehensive threat detection, rapid incident response, and cyber resilience, Silicon Angle reports.

The new MDR service is built to empower managed service providers (MSPs) of all sizes to expand their security offerings. It leverages the Acronis Threat Research Unit to deliver continuous monitoring, threat triage, and rapid isolation, with critical incidents potentially remediated in as little as 15 minutes. Acronis MDR integrates endpoint detection and response with proactive protection, including patch management and built-in business continuity capabilities.

This integrated approach aims to streamline management for MSPs and enhance cyber resilience for their clients, reducing the need for costly in-house security operations centers.
