The anonymous figure known as CyberLeek, responsible for earlier Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks, has escalated their demands by threatening to release a complete, playable build of the game. This threat is contingent on their associated Solana meme coin reaching a market capitalization of $30 million, based on information published by Security Affairs.
CyberLeek initially released 25 minutes of GTA 6 gameplay footage, including explicit content and developer menu access. The leaker's latest ultimatum states that if their cryptocurrency reaches a $30 million market value, a full, playable version of the game, including the story mode and ending credits, will be released. CyberLeek has also offered Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company, an ultimatum: provide physical copies of the game and issue a public apology to prevent the leak. Take-Two has been actively pursuing the identity of the leaker, even seeking court orders against Discord, but these efforts have thus far been unsuccessful. The leaker has also launched a Solana meme coin, using the leaked GTA 6 videos for promotion, which saw significant trading volume. The authenticity of CyberLeek's claim to possess a playable build remains unverified, and fake downloads containing malware have already begun circulating. The market has reacted seriously to the leaks, with Take-Two reportedly losing billions in market value, despite the unverified nature of the threat.
