France Titres, also known as the Agence nationale des titres sécurisés (ANTS), has disclosed a data breach affecting its ants.gouv.fr portal. The incident, which occurred last week, may have exposed various data types for an undisclosed number of individuals, based on information published by Bleeping Computer. The breach was detected on April 15, 2026, and potentially exposed login IDs, full names, email addresses, dates of birth, account identifiers, and in some cases, postal addresses, places of birth, and phone numbers. A threat actor known as "breach3d" has claimed responsibility, alleging to have stolen up to 19 million records containing similar personal information. While ANTS states the exposed data does not grant direct access to its portals, it could be used for phishing and social engineering attacks. The agency is notifying affected individuals and has involved the CNIL, Paris Public Prosecutor, and ANSSI in the investigation.Source: Bleeping Computer
