Danish telecommunications service provider Eurofiber's French unit had limited corporate data stolen following an attack against its vulnerable ticket management platform on Nov. 13, reports The Register.

No banking information and other sensitive details have been affected, according to Eurofiber, which noted that its cloud division and regional brands were not impacted by the incident.

"In the first few hours following detection, the ticketing platform and the ATE portal were placed under enhanced security, and the vulnerability was patched. Additional measures have been implemented to prevent further data breaches and strengthen system security," said the B2B wholesale telecommunications firm.

Eurofiber's disclosure follows recent attacks against B2B telcos. Distributed denial-of-service attacks against ICUK have prompted temporary service disruptions earlier last month.

On the other hand, UK multinational telecommunications and network services provider Colt Technology Services is still recovering from an August intrusion claimed by the Warlock ransomware gang.
