A recent seed funding round raised $2 million for security-as-a-service startup firm ContraForce, which also announced its launch into general availability, according to SiliconANGLE.
ContraForce’s solution offers no-code security automation designed for small and medium-sized companies with limited expertise and resources to mount a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
The firm also aims to empower users’ security and IT personnel to increase their efficiency and to ensure customer organizations’ security compliance with regulators and insurance firms.
ContraForce’s security platform maps vulnerabilities to MITRE ATT&CK, which is an industry-standard framework, as well as develops and adapts security identification and response capabilities in real-time. This ensures that the user environment across the cloud, endpoint, network and users is secured within hours. Its no-code feature also allows companies without security staff and with no knowledge of coding for security detection and response to address threats by themselves.
“By providing a sort of security and compliance ‘easy button’, ContraForce is filling a really significant gap,” said John Funge, managing director at DataTribe, which contributed to the seed funding.
