As reported by Bleeping Computer, law enforcement agencies have successfully dismantled the cryptocurrency service known as "AudiA6," which was allegedly used by ransomware actors and other cybercriminals to launder over $380 million. The platform is believed to have operated as a central money laundering hub between 2022 and 2025.

Europol reported that AudiA6 facilitated an industrial-scale cryptocurrency laundering operation, utilizing thousands of fraudulent exchange accounts opened with stolen identities. This service, marketed as a professional mixer, accepted proceeds from cybercrime, obscured their origins through complex transactions, and returned them cleaned within approximately one hour, charging a 3-10% commission.

The operation was linked to more than 15 international ransomware investigations. The investigation involved authorities from 11 countries, leading to the arrest of two individuals in Georgia, believed to be administrators of AudiA6 and the underground forum "Dark2Web." These individuals, identified by the U.S. Department of Justice, face up to 20 years in prison. Authorities seized domains, vehicles, properties, and cryptocurrency, while also blocking associated Telegram accounts. Approximately $19.2 million in cryptocurrency was directly traced to illicit sources, with additional funds laundered indirectly.
