Share

Critical vulnerabilities being exploited in Adobe Flash Player were addressed in a Monday security update.

The flaws – which could enable an attacker to take control of vulnerable systems – impact Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.182 and earlier for Windows, Adobe Flash Player 13.0.0.201 and earlier for Macintosh, and Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.350 and earlier for Linux, according to a Monday release.

Adobe Flash Player is updated to 13.0.0.206 for computers running Windows and Macintosh operating systems, and is updated to 11.2.202.356 for computers running Linux, according to the post, which adds that versions installed with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 10 and Internet Explorer 11 will be updated automatically.

According to various reports, the Adobe Flash Player bug has nothing to do with a recently disclosed Internet Explorer zero-day vulnerability.
