SecurityWeek reports that New York-based Madison Square Garden has confirmed the compromise of its data following the Clop ransomware operation's sweeping attacks exploiting Oracle E-Business Suite vulnerabilities.

The breach, described as a "systematic and sophisticated attack," led to unauthorized access to basic account details including contact information, usernames, dates of birth, and names.

The disruptions occurred during high-traffic evening news bulletins, affecting satellite beams and live feeds.

The breach exposed customer details including names, addresses, email addresses, dates of birth, and encrypted passwords.

The breach was identified in January 2026 when ManoMano discovered unauthorized access linked to the third-party vendor.

More than 3.4 million individuals were reported by health insurance tech provider TriZetto Provider Solutions, a subsidiary of Cognizant, to have had their sensitive data stolen following a 2024 breach, according to The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future.

Major luxury hotel and casino operator Wynn Resorts has admitted to the compromise of its employees' data following an attack by the ShinyHunters hacking group, while emphasizing that there has not been any indication of further misuse after hackers claimed to have deleted the stolen information, The Register reports.
