VMWare Workspace ONE integrates access control and application and multi-platform endpoint management for any application on any device without sacrificing security or control. A number of options and customizations make Boxer, the encrypted mail client, highly flexible. It supports and leverages information Risk Management system integrations for applying DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies to emails within the Boxer container.

Though multitenancy administrators have the ability to manage thousands of devices efficiently and in an organized manner. Administrators can use VMWare Workspace ONE to automatically assign different devices for different use-cases and group them into buckets to be managed independently. They now also can separate buckets and get more granular reports on environmental activities.

Role-based access bolsters security and productivity by showing users only the devices that pertain to their roles. Likewise, if administrative teams maintain different groups, role-based access will show administrators only the groups relevant to them, making management much simpler. 

Intelligent Hub is a true digital workspace that functions like an application catalog with significantly more security. It is fully brandable and customizable and provides a great end-user experience with single sign-on functionality. The digital workspace simplifies conditional access policies and makes them very easy to build. The notification engine is API- and GUI-driven and prioritizes notification alerts to users as needed.

Workspace ONE Intelligence gathers data from a multitude of sources and administrators can build customized dashboards and create automation around the data. The system integrates with NIST CVE and cross references Windows 10 deployments with critical CVEs to show which devices are missing critical patches. Administrators can create a dashboard that shows Windows machines missing patches at a Level 7, the critical threshold, or above. It then automatically triggers actions in the compliance engine in accordance with administrator configurations. Automation can even be leveraged for patching, resulting in faster approvals and faster reports.

The lowest tiered offer is VMWare Workspace ONE Standard starting at $3.78 per device/month or $6.52 per user/month. Basic support comes standard with the product and includes 24/7 phone support for high-severity issues and 12/5 phone support for issues of lower severity. All Workspace ONE customers have access to the support portal with self-help tools, documentation, community forum and tech support. Production Support and Premier Support are available for an additional fee.
