Deploying this appliance is easy with any type of VMware. The initial installation is done by deploying the VMware Open Virtualization Format (OVF) template and then manually configuring a few network settings. Once those few steps are complete, the appliance is pretty much ready to go. All configuration and management is done through the appliance's web-based interface, which has a clean, organized layout with intuitive controls.
The real power of this appliance is in its easy-to-use policy configuration templates. Many policies can be created quickly by simply clicking through a few steps on a wizard, and the policy or rule is ready to begin filtering mail. Adding to its ease of use, this appliance comes with prebuilt rule and policy configurations, so when building policy usually all that is necessary is simply clicking the appropriate radio button for the rule type.
