EdgeWave focuses on pre-delivery/post-delivery protection and incident response. Incident response removes all copies of malicious emails, alerts and reports on malicious attacks, has security operation center integration, and offers optional file level ransomware protection.

Email continuity ensures organizations retain email services during disasters or planned maintenance. This allows them to access a rolling 35 days of email, and for users to send/receive email via the secure web portal. All mail is synchronized when service returns.

Charts have a variety of drill down capabilities. They can be populated with activity for detailed information on the mail flowing through a system. Each chart has drill down capabilities, providing a detailed information view for better summaries that show types of messages and what actions should be taken. 

Advanced reporting features include filters, categories, actions, dispositions, and customized layouts. Reports include instant spam digests, category summaries, message handling summaries, quarantine reports, advanced reports, and many more. These can be downloaded into CSV format and feature search functionality. Organizations can  automate scheduled reports they would like to receive on a regular basis. 

EdgeWave is a customizable, user-friendly tool with helpful explanations and definitions that pop-up in the side margins. Pricing is per user, per year at $2 each for on-premises or cloud-based solutions. They feature the same functionality and filtering tools, but additional customization options are included with the appliance. On-premises appliances start at $3,500. Additional service purchases include advanced DLP, continuity, park and pull, and push encryption.
