Sarah has been operating in a conference organizer capacity for BSidesSF since 2018, starting with managing volunteer operations, to now program operations. Program Operations encompasses everything surrounding the design of the conference program itself, from running the CFP to facilitating reviews to schedule design to presenter logistics to operations and firefighting during the actual conference event.
BSides San Francisco is a non-profit organization designed to advance the body of Information Security knowledge by providing an annual, two-day, open forum for discussion and debate for security engineers and their affiliates.BSidesSF is a registered nonprofit; all conference organizers operate in a 100% volunteer capacity to put together high-quality content that draws over 2000 participants.
