Frank is a proven product leader who has developed high performing teams and numerous market leading cybersecurity solutions. Prior to joining the company, Frank was the Vice President of Product for Webroot (acquired by Carbonite), spent eight years as a product lifecycle leader with Sun Microsystems and founded a natural foods start-up in Boulder, CO. Frank’s early career was focused on international business, helping grow a technology start-up in Belize C.A. and having worked at Mitsubishi Chemical America. Frank holds an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business and a B.S. from Rutgers University.

Alain Espinosa thrives in the business-technology continuum, viewing business and technology as interwoven concepts. He excels at strategizing, planning, and coaching people as he moves easily between the big picture and the details. He also has a unique gift of envisioning things that have not yet happened and, from that, extracting solutions to issues and challenges. Alain is a relationship builder, skilled communicator, and facilitator who engages both technical and business stakeholders in reaching a common goal.
Currently Alain serves as Global Director, Cybersecurity Operations for Upbound Group, formerly known as Rent-A-Center, a $4 billion public retail and financing company. In this role he leads the enterprise security strategy and operations, ensuring the company is vigilant, resilient, and empowered in pursuing business goals. He partners with senior leadership, leads the cybersecurity operations team, directs the business resilience program, and oversees security awareness activities throughout the organization. Previously, Alain was the Senior Business Information Security Officer (BISO).
Earlier, Alain rose through a number of technical positions providing the foundation for leadership roles in Information Security. This experience was enhanced during his tenure at Cyber Defense Labs, an information security consultancy and managed security service provider, where he worked directly with clients on developing risk management strategies and providing program management expertise. Subsequently, he was the Director of Security Operations/Cybersecurity Consultant (vCISO) at Online Business Systems, an international digital transformation and cybersecurity consultancy, where he oversaw the shared Security Operations Center.
Alain is a Cisco CISO Advisory Board Member, Security Advisor Alliance Advisory Board Member, and DallasCISO Advisory Board Founding Member.
