Two Exabeam
employees who attended the RSA Conference 2020 have been diagnosed with Coronavirus
last month.Bloomberg
is reporting that one of the workers is 45-years-old engineer who returned home
to Connecticut on February 28 and became ill. He was hospitalized and has since
been placed in a medically induced coma and is on a respirator. No details on
the second person were given.Exabeam told
Bloomberg it is not clear if the virus was contracted at the show or some other
time.The company
has since instituted a work from home policy for those who work in its Foster
City, Calif. facility.RSA had
confirmed that 14 companies had pulled out of the show over Coronavirus fears
with AT&T,
Verizon and IBM being the biggest names involved.
