released new content guidelines regarding tweets that may help spread
Coronavirus that will hunt down those that misinform the public, in much the
same way the company is trying to protect elections.The company will now remove content that hinders people in some manner from seeking out the proper care for the virus or that encourages behavior that might lead to its spreading. Twitter is also putting in place more cybersecurity for its remote workforce.Effective

reported it is depending more upon machine learning and automation during the
crisis as its staff practices social distancing and works from home. It is now
using these technologies to take action against potentially abusive or
manipulative content. However, because this methodology is more prone to making
an error and there is no less human oversight due to fewer company workers“As a result,
we will not permanently suspend any accounts based solely on our automated
enforcement systems. Instead, we will continue to look for opportunities to
build in human review checks where they will be most impactful. We appreciate
your patience as we work to get it right – this is a necessary step to scale
our work to protect the conversation on Twitter,” the company

recently ran in to the same issue when a bug in its software began marking
legitimate posts on COVID-19 as spam.Since the
teams charged with this task are working remotely and the fact that they have
access to customer information, the company is adding layers of security to
keep private data safe.
