iBoss names DeWalt to board

David DeWalt has been appointed to iBoss’ board of directors as vice chairman.

DeWalt is the founder of NightDragon Security and former CEO and chairman of McAfee and FireEye. iBoss believes DeWalt’s experience will help with the company’s effort to move from on-prem to the cloud.

“The cloud has changed everything, not just enabling business but also in protecting it. The security mantra of “defense in depth” is severely limited now and vendors and customers alike need to adapt quickly to these changes. iboss can help solve this problem with their next generation cloud first gateway solution,” DeWalt said.
