What it takesAt minimum, a bachelor's degree is needed with at least three to five years of security PM experience. Also, strong time management and organizational skill sets and the ability to delegate authority and tasks. Probably most important is communicating well between staff, sales and clients.CompensationOver the last year, compensation for good security PMs has gone up from the $90k-$110k range to $100k-$125k.
