»David DeWalt (left) has resigned as president of McAfee, a subsidiary of Intel, following a four-year stint. He will continue as a non-employee member of the McAfee board of directors. To fill DeWalt's position, McAfee has appointed Michael DeCesare and Todd Gebhart to serve as co-presidents. DeCesare formerly served as EVP of global operations, while Gebhart was EVP and GM of the consumer, mobile and small business at McAfee.
»Webroot, maker of anti-virus and web security products, has appointed John Post to VP of finance. He will run the company's tax, treasury, accounting, facilities and financial planning. Most recently, Post headed tax and treasury matters at DISH Network and Echostar.
»Microsoft has opened a new Malware Protection Center research lab in Munich, Germany. The facility, which will complement existing locations in Washington state, Canada, Australia and Ireland, is tasked with monitoring and detecting malware threats in the region. The data obtained by the centers is used to protect Microsoft customers.

»Invincea, provider of virtualized threat protection for web browsers, has tapped Gabriel Martinez to serve as VP of client services. Martinez has held similar roles at NetWitness, ArcSight and Symantec. In addition, Invincea has promoted Stephen Ward to VP of marketing. He formerly served as director of marketing at NetWitness, which was acquired by EMC in April.
