Justin Jones is a cybersecurity leader and architect with extensive experience building, transforming, and leading enterprise security programs across aerospace, defense, government, healthcare, cloud, and commercial environments. His career spans Cybersecurity Engineering and Architecture, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), Vulnerability Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), security assessments, incident response, and enterprise risk management.

Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Lead for Security Engineering and Architecture at The Aerospace Corporation, Justin provides strategic and technical leadership across Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Threat Intelligence. He has led comprehensive enterprise security evaluations, advanced the organization’s understanding of systemic cyber risk, and developed risk-based strategies that align cybersecurity investments with mission priorities, regulatory obligations, and business objectives.

Throughout his career, Justin has designed and established cybersecurity programs, developed Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities, led multidisciplinary security teams, supported complex Department of Defense environments, and advised senior executives and technical leaders on cybersecurity risk and strategic decision-making. His experience includes CMMC, NIST SP 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP High, DoD Impact Levels, PCI DSS, CCPA, cloud security, systems security engineering, and security control validation.

A U.S. military veteran with experience supporting both Army and Air Force missions, Justin brings a mission-focused approach to cybersecurity leadership. His philosophy centers on integrating security into organizational strategy rather than treating it as an obstacle—combining technical depth, threat-informed decision-making, pragmatic risk management, and strong executive communication to strengthen organizational resilience.
