VMware announced that it is collaborating with two system integrators to develop ways to make it easier for enterprises to manage their multi-cloud migration and to monitor their activities on multiple cloud environments, according to SDxCentral.
First, VMware is expanding its tie-up with Wipro, provider of the FullStride Cloud Services for managing container development, deployment, and monitoring, to combine it with VMware's Cross-Cloud platform, which aggregates integrated services that allow users to build and run applications across any cloud while ensuring their security. The integration will allow enterprises to scale development and deployment of cloud-native applications.
Second, VMware and Atos are working on solutions that enable enterprises with differing infrastructures to exchange data without needing reconfiguration of those infrastructures, and while also ensuring multi-cloud data security and sovereignty.
The partnership will see VMware leverage its Tanzu Data Services, its Cloud Foundation and a software development kit for a template to allow users to run the service; while Atos will offer its cloud services business, its cybersecurity solutions, its Digital Hub and its edge and metal-as-a-service platforms.
