Versa Networks launches Sovereign SASE-as-a-Service for enhanced data residency

According to Silicon Angle, Versa Networks Inc. has announced the general availability of its Sovereign SASE-as-a-Service. This offering is designed to provide a fully managed secure access service edge solution, with all infrastructure and operations confined entirely within an organization’s legal jurisdiction.

The new service addresses a critical gap in the current SASE market, where many solutions lack true data sovereignty due to control and management planes residing outside the customer's legal boundaries. Versa's offering ensures that the data, control, and management planes operate within the specified jurisdiction, covering traffic inspection, routing, logging, and governance.

It integrates the full Versa SASE stack, including secure web gateway, cloud access security broker, firewall-as-a-service, zero-trust network access, and software-defined wide area networking. This allows enterprises to connect various locations and users into a unified fabric while maintaining jurisdictional alignment for all security and networking functions.
