Upwind Security Inc. has secured $400 million in new funding, bringing its total valuation to $3.8 billion as it expands its automated cloud security operations, based on information published by Silicon Angle.
The startup, which saw its revenue quadruple in 2026, utilizes runtime data from cloud workloads, application programming interfaces and AI agents to provide a unified security view. Chief Executive Amiram Shachar noted that the platform enables security and DevOps teams to trace findings directly to the underlying code. By deploying specialized AI agents, the company automates the investigation and remediation of security alerts, allowing human staff to focus on strategic decision-making. This approach addresses the challenge of managing complex cloud environments where AI agents operate at high speeds. Upwind currently serves hundreds of organizations, including Siemens AG and Roku Inc., with integrations across major providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The latest Series C round, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, follows a $250 million Series B round earlier this year. The company plans to dedicate these funds to product development and market expansion. This capital injection follows reports that the firm recently declined a $4 billion acquisition offer from Datadog Inc.
