Update fixes hole in Facebook Camera app

After white hat hacker Mohamed Ramadan alerted Facebook to a security vulnerability in its Facebook Camera app that have could have enabled miscreants to hijack user data when using wi-fi networks, the social media site issued an update. Ramadan, president and CEO of Egypt-based security training vendor Attack-Secure, found the vulnerability in the app's Secure Sockets Layer certification, potentially allowing man-in-the-middle attacks against anyone using the Facebook Camera app for iPhone. The update, 1.1.2, not only fixes the bug, but rewarded Ramadan with a bounty for his report to the company's White Hat Program.
