Tenable secures OneGov deal for FedRAMP cloud security

Tenable has secured a OneGov agreement with the US General Services Administration to offer its FedRAMP-authorized cloud security platform to federal agencies at discounted rates through March 31, 2027, reports The Fast Mode.

Under the deal, Tenable Cloud Security will be available to civilian agencies and the Department of Defense, supporting the government's cloud-first strategy while addressing heightened cyber risk in multi-cloud environments. The company said the platform provides unified visibility across infrastructure, identities, and workloads, enabling agencies to better protect sensitive data and modernize cloud operations securely.

As a cloud-native application protection platform, the solution supports Zero Trust initiatives through identity risk management and least-privilege enforcement, while also helping agencies maintain continuous compliance with evolving federal cybersecurity requirements. Tenable said the agreement builds on its longstanding role as a government security partner, pairing its experience in securing complex environments with GSA's procurement scale.

The offering also extends visibility to emerging technologies, including AI resources, giving agencies improved insight and resilience as they modernize mission-critical systems.
