Teleport 13, the cloud infrastructure management platform by startup Teleport, has been upgraded with features aimed at improving security and easing operational tasks for DevOps personnel, according to SiliconANGLE.
Teleport says organizations are increasingly facing the dilemma of balancing swift output delivery with security, which along with the ever-increasing complexity of cloud environments, poses a wide attack surface that cybercriminals are now taking advantage of by targeting user credentials and similar secrets.
The latest version of Teleport 13 adds automatic updates, which come with additional processes such as self-updating, vulnerability testing, and patching across the entire infrastructure. The update also adds transport layer security routing, which provides users with multi-protocol access through a single network address.
Now, DevOps teams have a more affordable option that allows them to focus on higher-priority activities instead of being bogged down with manual work such as patching vulnerabilities themselves.,according to Teleport co-founder and CEO Ev Kontsevoy.
