Matthew Calicchio, 17, of Holbrook, N.Y., a student at Sachem North High School in Lake Ronkonkoma, who is accused of illegally gaining access to the Sachem School District computer network and posting sensitive student data to online forums, pleaded not guilty on Saturday, according to reports.

Last week, Calicchio was arrested and charged with computer trespass, a felony charge, after an investigation revealed that he posted data on about 15,000 students in the Long Island school district. The information included student records, student ID numbers and school lunch designations.

An analysis revealed that the network was not breached from the outside.

“The district…is in the process of making direct notifications to any individual who it knows or reasonably believes was subjected to this breach of security and exposure of private information,” James Nolan, school district superintendent, said in a statement.
