Sumo Logic enhances data security with new Snowflake and Databricks apps

Data analytics software firm Sumo Logic Inc. has announced two new applications for Snowflake Inc. and Databricks Inc. platforms, aimed at providing customers with more robust visibility into their data pipelines and enhancing security analytics and troubleshooting capabilities, as reported by Silicon Angle.

The new apps address the growing challenge of managing data volumes and associated vulnerabilities by offering unified, real-time insights into user activity, configuration changes, performance issues, and potential threats.

The Snowflake Logs App allows analysis of login and access activity, optimization of data pipelines through query insights, and centralization of log data. It also features real-time dashboards and alerts for faster troubleshooting and improved reliability.

The Databricks Audit App provides centralized visibility into user activity, job execution, and administrative operations, enabling real-time detection of unauthorized access attempts and anomalous behavior. Both apps aim to reduce detection time and improve security posture for organizations leveraging these data platforms.
