As reported by Bleeping Computer, Spanish police have successfully dismantled what is believed to be the largest Spanish-language manga piracy platform, which had been operating since 2014 and serving millions of users globally.

The platform, which offered free access to copyrighted manga, generated significant revenue through aggressive pop-up advertisements, reportedly exceeding $4.7 million. Many of these ads were pornographic, raising concerns given the site's popularity among minors.

The investigation, launched in June 2025, led to a raid in Almeria, Spain, where a complex technological setup was discovered. Authorities confiscated cryptocurrency wallets containing over $470,000. Three additional arrests were made in connection with the operation.
