SentinelOne has announced the local availability of its AI-native Singularity Platform on Google Cloud in Saudi Arabia, a strategic move to support the Kingdom's digital transformation and strict data residency requirements, according to Tech Africa News.Hosted entirely within the Google Cloud region in Dammam, this deployment ensures all customer security data, including logs, threat intelligence, and incident reports, remains within national borders, aiding compliance with SDAIA's PDPL and National Cybersecurity Authority regulations. Meriam ElOuazzani, SentinelOne's Regional Senior Director for META, stated the investment supports Vision 2030's goals, enabling organizations to "strengthen their cyber resilience while keeping their organization's security data completely within the country."The local infrastructure reduces latency, facilitating real-time, autonomous threat detection and response at machine speed for public sector entities, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure operators. This initiative provides a scalable, sovereign cybersecurity foundation for Saudi enterprises adopting cloud and AI technologies, aligning with national priorities for secure innovation and technological leadership in a highly regulated environment.
