A Russian man who was arrested in Spain on suspicion of cyber fraud will be extradited to the U.S. within the next few days, according to an Interfax report cited by The Moscow Times.

Vadim Polyakov was arrested in Spain in 2014 after being indicted by U.S. authorities of account takeover fraud for allegedly hacking into StubHub.com, a ticket sales website, and using credit card data from customers to buy tickets.

Polyakov then worked with accomplices to resell the tickets, raking in about $10 million in profits. StubHub discovered the breach in March 2013 and reported it to authorities.

"Despite the efforts of the embassy and [Polyakov's] lawyer, the Council of Ministers of Spain decided he should be extradited," Russian Embassy official Konstantin Dorokhin said, according to the report, with extradition expected "in the next few days."
