U.S. online dating service operator Match Group had more than 10 million records across its Hinge, OkCupid, and Match platforms allegedly stolen by the ShinyHunters hacking group from widely used mobile marketing analytics platform AppsFlyer, Cybernews reports.Analysis of the data sample included by ShinyHunters in its leak post revealed not only documents with Hinge matches but also Hinge subscription data, such as user and transaction IDs, amounts paid, and blocked installations with IP addresses and locations. OkCupid files with details on the app's debugging process, employee emails, internal documents, and other files seemingly from India-targeted video chat-based dating app Vividi have also been exposed, according to Cybernews researchers. Match Group has already launched an investigation into ShinyHunters' claims."There is no indication that user log-in credentials, financial information, or private communications were accessed. We believe the incident affects a limited amount of user data, and we are already in the process of notifying individuals, as appropriate," said a Match Group spokesperson.
