New CISO Global, Halcyon partnership seeks to combat ransomware

SiliconAngle reports that cyber resilience-focused companies CISO Global and Halcyon Technologies have collaborated to provide integrated security offerings featuring their respective cyber solutions in a bid to combat ransomware attacks and other cybersecurity threats. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are being leveraged by Halcyon's platform to facilitate the detection of off-the-shell commodity ransomware and other malicious payloads prior to their execution, and such a platform's integration into CISO Global's service suite would help enhance defenses against ransomware, phishing, and malware events. Increased cyber resilience through improved awareness is also being sought by the newly formed alliance. "Halcyon is a pioneer in the anti-ransomware field and is purpose-built to combat encryption and data exfiltration. This partnership will open the door for exciting collaborations and will bolster the ransomware capabilities we offer our clients moving forward," said CISO Global President and Chief Information Security Officer Ashley Devoto.
